Our school based health centers operate as a project of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.   Through the JTMF School Health Initiative, all students in the NMB academic feeder pattern (NMB, JFK Middle, Fulford Elementary, Greynolds Park Elementary and G.K. Edelman/Sabal Palm Elementary) are eligible to receive basic school nursing and counseling services free of charge without enrollment into the health centers.   You do not need insurance to receive services at the health center.   However, students must have a signed parental consent form on file in order to receive physician services or other procedures/treatments.
