BEAM is a state of the art, academic Biomedical and Environmental Advancement Magnet. BEAM offers students the opportunity to gain top-notch education from our experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated staff, including regularly published researchers.
Students experience joint ventures with local hospitals, businesses, parks, colleges and universities, and government agencies. Through regular contact with recognized leaders and researchers students are at the forefront of their field.

Students are placed in educational externships within hospitals, research labs, government agencies, biotechnical companies, and parks and environmental areas.
Our students have received top honors from Westinghouse, Smith Barney, NASA, the Governor’s Environmental Education Award and the International Science Fair, among others.

BEAM's Exciting Curriculum Includes:

* Computer simulations, interactive learning, experience, Internet research.
* Laboratory activities including utilization of modern scientific technology.
* Science infused into all academic courses.
* High tech experiences provided by outside resources in and out of the classroom.
